"I could really use to lose my catholic conscience, 'cuz I'm gettin' sick of feeling guilty all the time" - GBS
The GBS Concert was AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING! So great. I went with mom and dad, but convinced Carolyn and Helene to come (it was in Rochester, by the way)! So amazing. We were right in the front, pretty much 4 feet away from Bob. They sang for about 2 and a half hours, so much music! Alan Doyle was hitting on Carolyn pretty much the entire time. He sang "Jack Hinks" and winked at Carolyn during the "winked at the lass" line. We were like, cool, haha, but then he kept doing it.... all night. So funny. Helene and Carolyn didn't understand why Bob is our favorite at first, but by the end of the night they were screaming "Yeah Bob!" with the rest of us. It was so amazing. They sang stuff from all their albums, and it was so cool. They sang a funny song about Rochester that Carolyn had to explain to me. I think my friends had a good time, I know I did. Mom and Dad were in heaven. Mom wore a fish hat for "the mermaid," long story. There was this crazy couple mom and I met while we were waiting to get in. They drove to Rochester from Boston and had matching homemade t-shirts with GBS quotes on them. I looked over at them during the concert and they were on cloud nine. Great Big Sea changes people's lives.
The only problem was they didn't play "boston and st. john's," and its like the only song Helene and Carolyn knew. Oh well. About a millions pics behind the cut!

Wow, that was so many pictures. It was a great concert. I pretty much sat by the window all shabbos waiting for it to send so I could post those pics, and upload this new layout! I hope you all enjoy! I'd love to talk more but dad's Scottish work-friend is over for dinner and I feel like I should play nice. Amy must be so jealous right now; a Scot who lives in England right in my own home. He has a rediculous accent!
Later,
