Today about 2:30 I started having bloody show discharge. It's a nasty, mucus-y thing tinged with blood. It's the cervix ripening, dilation and discharging, making room for Axl's head to come through the birth canal. I've been experiencing more and more of it as the day has worn on.
Which means that here fairly soon, Axl will be arriving.
I had to call my ex husband and tell him that I couldn't pick up the girls until Sunday. I did speak to them, although I really wanted them to come home. But not with that discharge showing up. It means I've got 24-48 hours before I give birth to Axl. And with the way I've been having contractions, I bet I'll be headed to the hospital later tonight or early in the morning.
I'm thinking about taking a quick shower.
