Well, Danielle and her kids are leaving "some time" tomorrow. THANK GOD.
Despite all my bitching, Danielle really is a good person at heart, but she really needs to do some major changing when it comes to parenting. And she and I are at this understanding now.
Father's Day night was BS, Roy lost his temper and threw a PMS hissy fit from Hell because the girls wouldn't allow him to catfish, and thus, wouldn't allow us to camp at Pin Oak for the night... Long story short, he and I ended up having a long ass talk till 3:30 AM; mostly about he and his anger issue and his problem with his mouth blabbing cuz he has lips while angry. He scared the shit out of the girls, too, and ended up apologizing to all three of us. Again. Come to find out that Z wanted to leave the lake area and come home because she didn't like the fact that Daddy and I were going to have to sleep outside the tent with the coyotes; there wasn't enough room for all four of us in the tent. So, Roy is buying what is technically a 10-man tent, that has two bedroom areas and a living room area, and comes with two queen-sized air mattresses. He's even admitted that he can't do sleeping on the ground much longer.
The last couple days I've been so busy disciplining children- including my own- I haven't even had time to think, let alone breathe. Zerrin has knocked the shit out of Xy twice in two days, and basically had Xy screaming for mercy and saying she was sorry over and over... plus Z kept telling Xy 'no you aren't!'
Well, we had kept warning Xy that one of these days Z would have enough of her shit.
I love sibling rivalry, don't you?
Aside from that, I got a 99/100 on my Customer Service midterm, and a 90/93 on my Business Ethics Midterm. Not too shabby. That brings me up to a 100% in Business Ethics and a 93.86% in Customer Service. =) President's List, here I come.
Speaking of which... Monty scared the crap out of me today. I literally almost had a heart attack. Even though I didn't make President's this last term, I did make Dean's... but they had a crap load of leftovers from the President's List luncheon. My blood sugar was low.
I had grabbed a couple of chips with a pair of tongs, and started putting them in my bowl... and in came Monty. Who looked at me like I had three heads. He promptly asked me what I was doing. My heart was racing and hammering in my chest, I didn't feel that it was right for me to get it anyway despite Ms. F saying that it was OK. I started to put it back after I had answered him about just getting some chips... and he relented.
But his face was so serious, I seriously thought I had stepped in some deep crap.
He'd stated, "Go ahead and eat, because what's left we're just going to have to throw away, and the less we have to throw away, the better."
It was Qdoba. And it was damn good.
