a load off my mind.

Over the last couple of days, I have talked to so many male workers over the phone. Wells Fargo had a man with an African accent sternly ask me why I hadn't been paying the mortgage a couple days ago. Wow. How about this: The payments are in the mail. You will get them. Get. Off. My. Ass. As for the rest of that information, I have disclosed the reasons to your company I don't know how many times; if it's not in your info on my file I don't know what the heck to tell you. Well, they finally got the first one this morning. The other should be following in a couple days.

I was nicer about it, but you get the gist. I'm sick and tired of WFHM calling and bothering the absolute crap out of me. The nice thing is, the calls finally stopped after that.

AT&T asked me to stay on as a potential customer; after I'd found out that Cable One's phone and internet service were going to be cheaper in the long run, I called and cancelled AT&T's installation and the guy tried his darnedest to keep me on as a customer, killing the installation fees and bringing it down to $54 a month (even though I was told it was going to jump $37 after a year...), I had firmly told him I do not want to proceed with the installation. He wasn't happy, but he had to do as I'd told him to.

My glasses have been ordered. They're purple wire frames. I didn't think I'd be into such a color, but they look nice on me, and I can't wait to give my tired, dry eyes a rest from my contacts. Roy, on the other hand, pissed me off while I was at the store today, yelling at me over the phone because I apparently wasn't thinking straight. At the same token, neither has he, because he seems to think that I can waste my tax return on grabbing him an 18 pack, charcoal and lighter fluid, as well as meat and other groceries for the house, while trying to save enough money back for his divorce proceedings on Monday. I guess he seems to think that tap water isn't good enough for him to drink all the time like I do.

I will be working into BDB #9 before the weekend is out, #8 is almost done. And I had hit a drill bit close to the side wall in our rear passenger tire...so, after paying $14.25 for road hazard services and tire recycling, I got a free tire out of the deal. I don't know where I got it from, I blame Galena for that one though, because Tues night I had to run Darrin over to Galena to pick up his Jennifer from her mom's place... and I don't know Galena all that well. That would make maybe 4 times I've been into Galena total.

Galena kinda gives me the creeps. Or maybe it's because I just don't know Galena as well as I do Joplin.

Well, back to my book.

money issues, roy, bullshit
