TMZ said that the arresting officer audiotaped the whole conversation, which I hope will be leaked soon, if only to satisfy my own curiosity. Reportedly, Gibson said, "My life is fucked."
The ironic-est bit of this extravaganza, which I think clinches its interest for me at least, was the controversy over The Passion of the Christ, as to whether it was anti-Semitic at all.
Still, you can't help but to be sorry for the guy. Oh, I'm such a horrible gossip.
