Questions asked by every9seconds.

1) Favorite book character and why.

Alright, well. I simply adore Tony from Tanya Huff's Blood & Smoke series.

When we are first introduced to Tony is a male prostitute, working the streets of Toronto, especially the intersection of Yogue & Bloor. He has had his taste of drink and drugs but is not said to be addicted to either one. The main character, Vicki, feels very responsible for Tony feeling guilty that she hasn't been able to get him off the streets. Tony gives Vicki and other cops (but mostly Vicki) a lot of inside information about street happenings and because of that she refers to him as her "curbside guru". It seems that Tony often goes hungry because Vicki comments on his "pinched look" a bit.

And then Tony meets Henry. After fighting and nearly being killed by a demon Henry needs blood and Vicki has given him all she can so she goes in search of Tony. Tony gives Henry his blood to save him, enjoying but also feeling weird about the effects Henry's bite has (orgasm). What he doesn't realize until later is that by giving Henry his blood he had formed a connection with the vampire and Henry views Tony has his.

In the sequel Smoke series Henry and Tony are said to have been in a relationship for awhile but have since parted company, though Henry is still around. Tony gets involved with other worldly things once more and discovers his natural abilities toward the art of magic. While fighting various figures, including banishing demons, Henry is always there in the background to make sure Tony doesn't go to far but at the same time gives him space because he doesn't want to be "Henry's" anymore. And then there's Lee, Tony's "straight" crush.

I really connected with Tony for whatever reason. I want the sequel series and his story with Lee continued so badly.

2. Guilty Pleasure (non-fandom related)

HGTV... or reading... take your pick. I can do either one for hours.

3) Favorite article of clothing?

I'm actually wearing it right now. It's a gray t-shirt that has Stewy from Family Guy on it. It says, "The only difference between you and me is that I'm a genius who will someday rule the world and you are just an idiot." It's old and super comfy. Plus it always makes people laugh.

4. The kinkiest, dirtiest thing you've ever read or seen?

Fandom wise: Heat by ArcadianMaggie - Leah went from a young woman in love to the only female in a pack of mind-reading shape shifters, led by the Alpha Sam, her ex. Rated M. Contains mature content. See multiple warnings inside.

It's Leah/... pretty much everyone. A little strange at times but totally hot.

Non-fandom wise: Resistance by L.M. Turner - Ryan's relationship-phobic, preferring to live his life from one anonymous hook-up to the next. He never remembers a name, and he never goes back for more. But then he meets Jayden, the one-off who won't get out of his head, his life -- or, indeed, his bed.

Ryan remains in a denial, however; he has no place in his life for emotion or feelings, despite how much difficulty he finds in keeping away from the gorgeous, confident Jayden.

It's not until Jayden gets a boyfriend, bringing their non-relationship to a sudden end, that Ryan thinks he might have been feeling something all along. Feeling a lot, actually, but it's too late.

Jayden's happy with his new man, and Ryan shouldn't want to get in the way of that -- but he's selfish, and he's had an epiphany, and maybe the only way to get Jayden back is to reveal more of himself than he knows how to handle. But is it enough for Jayden to take a risk on a man who, by his own admission, has no idea how to love?

O.M.G. Holy hot sex Batman!

5) The Bible

I am a Christian so I've read the Bible a few times and I see it more as... guidelines than actual rules. People who want to use the Old Testament rules for arguments piss me off more than anything. Yeah, it states homosexuality is a sin but one Old Testament king had 500 wives and 300 concubines. Where is the sanctity of marriage in that? Besides, in the New Testament, Jesus came and forgive ALL past and future sin as long as you have a relationship with him. The New Testament says to hate the sin, not the sinner. Above all else the Bible is a record of God's love.

-steps off soap box-

6. Favorite Word

"Frisky"... frisky, yeah, go on, say it. It's so fun!

7) Money is no object, describe in detail what would you want to accomplish before you die.

I want to get a person's wish from the Make A Wish Foundation and make it happen.
