At this moment, I am genuinely happy for the first time in a while. It's only been three or four days since I last spoke to John and suddenly, I feel lighter, like a weight has been lifted. It seemed to come out of nowhere and I can't quite put my finger on what has caused it. But it's probably best not to question it right now lest I drive it away. This was a little unexpected, but I'll go with it.

My eyes are really dry, though and I can't see straight enough to type legibly. That is all.
