Feb 03, 2017 07:49

Hi! It's been a long time since my last post here.
This time, I'd like to review a drama.
Well, this is my first review ever (and English isn't my native language) so please forgive me if there's something wrong with the review.

Well I know that this drama had been on air a long time ago. But maybe there's someone here that hasn't watched it?

Summary:

Sakuragi Ken (Hiroshi Abe) was a member of a motorcycle gang and then he changed into a destitute lawyer. He is trying to guide failing high school students with an average score of 36 into Japan's most prestigious educational institution, Tokyo University (Todai).

He advertised his intention to produce 5 successful Todai applicants from the students of a nearly bankrupt failure of a school just for his personal reason. This third rate lawyer soon becomes the homeroom teacher for the special advanced class aiming for Tokyo University entrance.

"If you want to change your life, get into Toudai!" is what he said towards the students.

Overall, I think this drama is very nice. Their study methods are unique, too. Studying with cards, "imaginary ping pong", etc are very interesting. But I haven't watched GTO yet so I don't know if there's another unique learning methods. And the teachers are so funny!

Their act were good, too. And, this was my first time watching Nagasawa Masami's act. (Yes I haven't able to watch Kimi ni Sasageru Emblem yet). My opinion: she's cute! Koike Teppei and Yamashita Tomohisa was cute and (sometimes) cool, too! I think Koike Teppei was good with pinky hair.

I think this drama is good for someone who isn't good with usual learning methods (Just like me).

This is the end of my review. Thank you for reading. You can give me some advice. (My review is so bad, I know).

Once again, thank you very much!
