“Dommeh, I’m bored!”

Dom groaned from where he heard Matt’s desperate voice.

“You’ve got to be kidding me, Bells. You were the one who-…”

“I know, I know, I know I was the one who wanted to stay here in the first place. But I am bored. Very bored.”

Dom put the book in his hand aside. “So, whaddya wanna do then?”

Matt looked up in the corner of his eye, and when his glance finally landed on Dom again it was sweetly innocent.

Dom groaned again. “What?”

Matt chuckled. “No, actually I don’t know.”

“TV?”

“No.”

“Movie?”

“There are only boring ones.”

“Go for a walk?”

“Don’t have the energy to.”

“Socialize ourselves?”

“Urgh, no.”

Dom sighed. “But come up with a better suggestion yourself then, for fuck’s sake!”

“Sowwy…” Matt hung his head and pouted.

“Well,” Dom said and picked up his book again, “Since you obviously don’t want to do anything about it-…”

“Don’t!” Matt cried, holding his hand out if he tried to reach something.

Dom shot his eyebrow.

“Well… you… um…” Matt stuttered. “Can you… eh…”

“Get a grip, Bells.”

“Could you… rub my back? I love when you do that…”

“Matt?” Dom burst out laughing. “Are you blushing?” Aww, sweetie pie!” He pulled Matt to sit on his lap, giving him a gentle squeeze. “And how often have I rubbed your back?”

“Often.” Like every time you pull me to sit on your lap, as you just did.”

Dom chuckled and automatically started to tub Matt’s shoulder blades. Ah, that’s the case. He felt his friend slacken and hang his head down so he could massage his neck.

“Matthew?” Dom said gently. “Are you purring?”

This one giggled. “What? I ain’t a bloody cat!”

“Oh, you’re not? How come you-…”

“Mm, right there. Feels so good.” Matt interrupted when Dom scratched his hails along his spine.

“You have any idea how much that could be misunderstood?” Dom chuckled.

“What?”

Oh my, sometimes he was just so childish. “How old are you, Bells?”

“But what? Yer just massaging me!”

Dom rolled his eyes. “Sure, sure.” He stood up, lifting Matt with him as long, and threw him on the bed. Matt started at his friend with big, big eyes. “And you think I was giving wrong impression?!”

Dom had to think a little before he understood what his friend ment.

“I’m sure it would have been freakishly hot, if it wasn’t me you threw.” Matt continued.

Dom snorted. “Having bad self-esteem again?”

Matt giggled. “Always.”

It was 11.30 pm when the phone rang, and I threw my book aside to throw myself on the phone before it woke someone up.

“Hello?!” I panted.

“Well, well, well, someone’s busy?”

“What the fuck, Matt? It’s in the middle of the night! And when I told you to call me occasionally I didn’t mean-…”

“I can’t sleep…” he sighed, sounding just as helpless so I couldn’t be angry with him. That bastard!

“Are you ok?”

“Yes… No… Oh fuck it, I just can’t sleep, that’s all.”

“And Dom? Is he asleep? Oh lemme have a wiiild guess. Just a little sweet innocent guess. You’re-…”

“Bored.”

Sigh. “I bloody knew it. Well, lucky you that I was still awake, ‘cause the rest of my family isn’t.”

“Oh, sorry.” He mumbled.

“Nah, it’s ok pal. So, what have you done today then?”

“Nothing, actually. We took a walk in the hotel, but fuck me, that was boring. Do you know how many teenage girls there are on this hotel?!”

I laughed out loud. “Having rivals again?”

He snorted (I’m amazed that snort did actually make you feel stupid for real - every time!). “Don’t be ridiculous, ‘stopher. They’re… annoying!”

“And Dom does what about it?”

“Being as nice and sweet and wonderful as only he can!”

I smiled to myself. Anyone would think a certain person here had a certain crush on a certain boy beside him. Well, of course, I’m convinced that anyone would have been right. (My long term opinion, yes). “Well, go and snuggle up with oh wonderful Dom if you’re bored then.” I joked and Matt sighed.

“He didn’t like it. He told me to go to sleep.”

My heart skipped a beat and then I burst out laughing. “You mean you actually did snuggle up with him?”

“I tried to, but he didn’t want to. He said that ‘if he was supposed to spend seven days with my arse in his bed, he would rather to sleep on the pavement. At least that would be calmer’.”

I laughed even harder at Matt’s perfect imitation of Dom’s smart-ass voice.

“You’re so turned down, mate.” I said, wiping my eye. “Boyfriend doesn’t want Boyfriend in his bed.”

“Grow up, ‘stopher.” Matt snorted maturely.

“Maaaatt?” came Dom’s rusty voice from a far distance. “Are you violent-calling Chris in the middle of the night, or are you talking to yourself?”

“Now go and take the chance to get a rid of that boredom while he’s awake.” I laughed.

“Yer right. Call you tomorrow again. Big kisses, bye!”
“No, don’t call!!” I shrieked and then he hung up on me. “Fuck.” I swore to myself with a laugh. Actually I’d be nothing but glad if they called me, but that would be far under my dignity to admit that aloud. I crawled back into bed, praying for Dom’s sake that Matt wouldn’t be too annoying on him.
