Apparently a 10th planet has been discovered and it's has been named XENA! And just to make sure there is no confusion as to whom we are refering to, it's moon has been named Gabrielle! FUCKING RIGHT!

It's not official, hasn't been proposed as an official name, and would be against the official rules. But even as nicknames go it's damned cool ;)

My hope for ensuring that Xena is not immortalized in Outer Space is that this object is in the Kuiper Belt, which is a large body of icy objects revolving around the sun and many astronomers believe that these should not count as planets (thank you, terrestrial planets). Otherwise I may have to join your Xena club... *shudder* ;)
