Well it has been a while since posting...I have a tendency not to post when thing suck and I had a good day at work today and am in a good mood so I will treat u :P. I have come to the conclusion that camp is a 3 pronged trident. One prong is sharp and venum tipped, one is dull and just irritating - but another has a feather at it's end and tickles my humor and hopes into somethign wonderful. This week my favoirt kid's name is Olin (possbily the COOLEST guys name I have ever heard too!). N e way he is an adorable, eager to please, sweet, energetic and spontanious kid. My luck over having different kids ask to sit with me on the bus continues - it's nice to be liked by children even if you weren't when you were a kid...yet ironic lol. Today we did a craft I organzied which went really well and saw Charlie and the Chocalte factory which was terrible except for it's seldom but excellant random humor:
"You must have hope" -grandfather 1,
"Don't give up" - grandmother 1
"Don't waste your time and energy" - grandfather 2
"I like grapes" - grandmother 2...oh (L) to crazy old women.
After work I had 30 min to get to my next job and have eaten and be dressed...it was interesting but i did it! The wedding was GREAT tonight 2, there was such good energy in the air and everyone just seemed so genuinely happy for the bride and groom and happy to be there themselves - unlike the undertones of melencholy I feel at other weddings. The gusts were all really polite to and the speakers had wonderful senses of humor:
"And the most talked about thing this wedding night is...THUMP THUMP THUMP" - speaker *followed by roaring laughter and applause.
I think I have outed myself to my co-workers as well but I am happy with how I did so:
"If there was a really hot girl whom wanted your number would you give it to her?" randomly out of the blue question from one of my female co-workers
"No" me
"Why? her
"Not interested" *shrugs* me
The only question remaining was whether this was a question directing by one of the brides maids or guests or an even more random question then I would have dared her ask - especially in the setting of infront of the majority of the workers (she's not that big a bitch :P/ she's actually nice).
So yes the 14 hour straight work day I thought would kill me actually ended up beign a great day. Bizaar.
I credit my good mood to 14 hours of not having a second to think - perhaps the blinding light is a blessing, for now. I'm still skeptical over whether this will be another "Into the Light" ... and Out the Other Side experience though.
No matter how blindingly bright,
or how volunatarily-poor your sight,
You will always feel the haunting plight,
with or without the illuminating or eclipsing light.
Hopefully not?
