(no subject)
I had my frist day of serving yesterday and I loved it! I served for a PTS charity dinner 2 years ago and really enjoyed it and was glad that everythign worked out. I am even more enthusiastic noww about waitering next year :D, or at leats applying. I'm also mostly done my planning for my camp which starts next Monday (a week this Monday) and I hope it is just as good. I'm hoping to have around $1500-$2000 saved for school from the summer but we shall see how that goes between summer spending and possibly needing to pay for some of school. My dad continues to perk up and he should be able to fix up the laptop so I can use it soon! Yay for my computer going into a closet and off the floor and a portable thingy!
As for my mom - b/c it wouldn't be an entry without some form of complaint lol, she has managed to shock and appal my grandparents by walking out on me when i came to have dinner with her -1st to walk the dogs, then to meet up with friends which was apparently a 'last minute' arrangement. I was really hurt, and my grandfather kept apologizing. Interestingly enough, the wholke thing was unprovoked. She just came in and left with no more than a hi and no words exchanmged between us aside from an idiotic phone call where she called only to ask how to get the trunk open to retreive her keys...Perhaps they are slowly beginning to realize what a self-centred childish person she has become over the past few months. Bizarly it is my father whom insists I don't discommunicate myself from her - which would be so much easier emotionally... I don't understand him, but I do understand that his intentions are good in the matter. She claims that 'things will be easier later' by response to this 2 days ago was "not if you don't give a damn in the mean time!". I really don't approve of her strategy of blowing me off unless she wants something and saying nasty things about me until she 'decides' she wants a son again. The clock is ticking mother dear...
