(no subject)
Well I just had my acapello audition and it was interesting to say the least lol. I had chosen my song Silhoute by Smile Empty Soul last night giving me very little time to practice it, but despite that I felt I had a decent grip on it. If course this didn't prevent me from 'droping it' during the actual audition when the pressure was on lol. I did all the usuals, to fast sometimes and a couple of pitch. The wonders didn't stop there though! I have never done the raising voice to the piano before and had NO idea how to do that, thus amusingly I couldn't raise my voice very high and my climbing was shaking and involved a lot of effort - perhaps I should have anticipated this exercise? The other grand surprise was singing to a piano key which is harder then it sounds when you arne't used to litening to paiano's. Meh. I have the 'sneaking' suspicion I wont be called back :P.
In other news I continue my sour mood. I have just been angry all day and nervous about my quiz in communications, the auditoin and just blah in general. What I am going to try and do is go the Pagan sociities meeting tommorow so that I can actually pick that up b/c I REALLY need some direction in my life, I also started reading 'The Spiral Dance' last night, which is interesting so far.
I also think Tayu should have one of the missing chairs smashed over his head by me for 'potting-up' the room this afternoon worse then ever and forcing me to open all the doors, windows and spray lysal throughout the room - maybe next time in his eyes...
