As I was down on my hands and knees picking up little tiny bits of flourescent clay that were embedded in the oriental rug I had a thought ( Read more... )

3 is a strange one. In the Teutonic Runes it is the Thurs which in different Rune poems has been attributed to a thorn, a giant or even thor's hammer. Raw energy it seems, be it for benefit or harm. Something I had thought about in relation to three is that the Valknot (knot of the slain) of the Norse is three interlocked triangles, the Norse also believed in 9 worlds, it would seem the stability of three was important. There are 24 Runes broken into three "families" of 8. 8 being a number related to chaos it would seem three again holds stability. The Greeks had a trefot which symbolized the three realms, the upper world, the middle world (ours) and the under world - quite similar to the Norse. Also common Celtic knotwork designs have three animals in their circles... I don't know if any of this is of any help, if it interests you, or if you already knew all this...

Thanks for reminding me of some of that. Actually, until recently, I have LIKED three's...I have a triquetra knot tattooed on myself symbolizing the three faces of the Goddess. It is just lately that I always seem to be on the hard side of a triangle...maybe all sides are hard.. who knows. nobody ever is really upfront with what is in their head so I guess it's impossible to tell .

Who are U BTW? Have I had the pleasure...?

I almost forgot the greeks had a trinity of sorts beyond three realms of reality - the foundations of science with Thesis - Antithesis and Synthesis. I wouldn't say nobody is upfront with whats in there head, but it is true it is rare, even when it's your own head.

I think I met you at Alanja's house. I was outside when a bat flew around in the trees. You told me about some trouble at Area 51 you had... unless I am really out of it...
