Reality Checks......
Well most people don't even deal with reality let alone have a checks and balances for it. I always deal in reality, which often comes crashing around your damn head at the least opportune times......Friday was one of those times grrrrr
I'm one of the rare people that when I make a promise I KEEP IT. My word is the epitome of honour and when I give it to someone you can take it to the bank, the next life etc., etc.
Unfortunately some people break their promises and that ensues a mountain of heart ripping pain for the one that the promise was given to. Which I had the hurtful experience of on Friday eve. After the initial shockwave hits, then the pain hits......so now I have the aftershock effects......waiting for the next wave, will it hit again and if so when......was this a once time shot for the person that broke their promise......thoughts, thoughts and more damn thoughts. Experience is the best teacher, been there done that and got the damn battle scars to prove it......but it never gets any easier when someone you trust more than anything breaks a promise......yeah fn reality checks and balances and the fine line 'tween love and hate......
