30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? One thing? I’m not sure I can narrow it down…besides, no one thing would make my life IMMEASURABLY more satisfying, unless you take that to mean more satisfying in such a small quantity that it cannot be noticed even by the most prescient of people…besides, you can’t really even measure satisfaction, unless you set up some kind of sliding scale first…oh, I know. My year would have been immeasurably more satisfying if, in ‘Beauty and the Beast’ they explained whether or not time just randomly stopped in the castle. Otherwise, Chip is seriously impossible, and the Beast is like 12 years older than Belle. And because I’m just assuming time DID stop in the castle (do I remember something about it being “taken out of time?” Or was that some other castle?), how did everyone around the village just suddenly FORGET it existed in the first place. I know when we talked about this in Oita I blew it off as irrelevant (at least next to the dancing dusters and talking timepieces), but it’s been seriously bugging me ever since.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006? …from short shirts and jeans to long shirts and slacks, ‘cause they don’t show the belly in Japan and I have a real job now.

35. Who did you miss this year? Everyone…I love Japan and I’m having a great time, but I am so far away. :(
36. Who was the best new person you met? Again, so many…here’s a short list in order of acquaintance: Sarah, Danielle, Tom, Russel, Emi, Kevin, Alyssa and Raph, Heather and Ronin…
37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006: It is not better to have loved and lost. Whoever said that is retarded.
38. What is the weirdest thing you ate? Toss up between the pickled sea cucumbers and the whole piranha in Japan and the jellyfish tentacle salad in Korea.
39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
From (SHOCK AND AWE) the song that reminds me of this year! Why do we
Have two of these questions?
“Feels like I’m starting all over again
The last three years were just pretend.
And I said:
Goodbye to you,
Goodbye to everything that I knew.
You were the one I loved,
The one thing that I tried to hold on to...”
And, just because it's there:
