I GOT IT!!
Finally! after 2 1/2 weeks I got the call I had been waiting for. I start my new HIGHER PAYING job on August 6th. I cannot wait to go into work tomorrow to give my 2 weeks notice....I have been dreaming about doing that for a month now.
This last weekend was also Rodeo weekend here in Denver. It is by far my favorite weekend here in Denver. Not only for the eye candy, but for the great group of people who travel here. I always manage to meet a few new friends from the rodeo. The weather was totally opposite from last year.....it was hovering around 100 compared to the monsoon we had all weekend last year. I usually compete in Chutedogging, Steer Deco and Goat dressing but decided to take this year off and become a spectator.....that means I could drink! The picture below is from the homorodeo.com party at the Wrangler Friday night....it starts out as a meet and greet and ends up turing into a sloppy drunken mess of testosterone in cowboy hats and wranglers....a perfect combination for the Mikey!
