Either the increased sunlight and nice weather lately has cheered me up, or my moodiness finally got sick of itself and went away. Even though work has me cranky, it's no longer ruining my day.
This is perhaps bolstered by a good kick from the weekend - what better way to remind myself why I stay in my job than with abject and shameless consumerism?
There is now a monolithic Sony Bravia lurking in the living room. With rabbit ears... such a poetic mesh of technology and the archaic.
The fantastic phenomena of this new living room technology has resulted in us being able to actually read the text included in our videogames. The girls of the house, previously unwilling to strain our eyes squinting at the text in Assassin's Creed can now happy see what's going on from across the house.
The other pick me up? Being able to gloat at my dad over the phone that my tv is bigger than his. Also: Rez HD.
Tonight is the last rehearsal before the RCM taiko recital next Monday. Those in the Toronto Area, it's at the RCM campus on Croatia Street, and it's free!
