bah, i'm not the best person to be giving advice to the lovelorn, for sure.....my skill at "picking em" is abysmal. But I tell ya, I have had brainless sexy ones and there is no competition, hands down, with a brainy one.
You can find a cute little cattle dog any time, any place, and they are as loyal as hell and pretty much eat what you feed 'em and most of em don't even try too hard to get off the leash.
But oh MY, the sexiest part of the human anatomy is between the ears....I get all hot and bothered sometimes just listening to badasher talk tech! I expect that you can find a man with a good brain AND a good body if you look.....they're out there and I'm sure some of them are gay! Of course, you could always borrow a dress and some tights and .......nevermind.
I am glad Jason is there for you, really, but when you make out your next Christmas list make sure Santa can see you want the IQ to be 180, and not.......80.
Yeah, but that song kicks ass! One of the few rock/metal songs that has a lead bassline. *ducks*
In seriousness, sometimes you don't have to agree on all the same stuff, or like the same stuff. For instance, I am a movie and music snob. I know it. I recognize that it's silly to think less of people for saying something like "Man, those old black and white movies are boring. Let's watch Transformers! now that was a great movie!" Or "yeah, the Beatles were ok, but Nirvana was the best rock band of all time!" But I still think these opinions are stupid. I now have lost my train of thought and have no idea where I was going with this. I blame ADD.
Here is the thing, sweets. Jason is almost illiterate. That is not something I think can or should be held against him, but it does make it harder for the two of you to understand each other in some important ways.
I've seen Joxer have trouble reading the text in his video games. Even if he showed interest in learning about your love of books....*sigh* I feel like I am sounding mean here, when my intention was to simply state that it's not a case of him being unwilling to try your tastes in things, but more a difficulty of actually being able to do so.
I think, at this point in time, the fact that he loves you, and has put up with a lot of our family issues, is the important part. I admit that I have moments where I do not understand what the two of you talk about....but...sometimes...that works. :P
Love you both.
but if he hurts you, he goes in the river. he knows that, right? LOL
I agree with your sister on this one. Maybe you can have a virtual mental affair with some smarty online. If that's allowed in your dynamic. I totally get the need for intellectual stimulation.
