30 Days of Happiness, Day 29.1
I'm not ready to be done yet, so I'm not finishing. I mean, I will soon, it's just that today isn't the day.
The bright red of my hair has faded to a wholly unrespectable hue. And you can see my roots. I'm graying faster than any person in my family. Seriously. I can't remember how old I am right now, but I'm sure that I've got at least a year before I'm even 30. And this is a lot of gray. I'll look like Steve Martin in a week.
I may just go with little-old-lady-blue-hair dye and see how that suits me. And I'm gonna get rollers. And a perm. And a case of Aqua Net.
And for those of you wondering how on earth *this* is on my happy list -- I find my quickly graying hair kind of amusing. And the fact that my hair has faded from bright red means it's time to dye it another awesome color. It's also time for a new cut. Wooo!!!
(As an aside, I wonder when Keith Richards started going gray. Maybe I'm just too rock star for my hair.)

-- I love bad food so, so much. Easy Mac is my false idol.
-- These roses on the table at the Palace. They're funny colors. And blooming beautifully. And you know what? I just stopped and smelled them.
-- I <3 cliches. But only when it's convenient for me.
-- I've spent a little more time than normal at the Palace this week, and that's been good in some really cool ways. I like having my Ava Life more in my control than at the whim of the universe. That said, I like my vagabond lifestyle a lot, too. Come to think of it, maybe I just accidentally got a perfectly timed break from vagabond.
-- Courtesy of Palace time, I've had some wee bits of interactions with housemates, who often seem happily surprised to discover me at home.
-- Kai's energy. Seriously, dude. *You* try hanging out with him without being bitten by the happy-go-energy(!) bug. I dare you.
-- Pink Palace Pube-washing Sponge in the kitchen sink. I keep hearing the word "nefarious" being tossed about.
-- Hanging out with some of my regulars after getting off work tonight. A beer after a very busy day. Yeah, man.
-- I've almost swallowed my pride on a thing. Almost. Still trying.
-- Learning my limitations the Not Hard way. w00t!
-- Getting a phone call from my sister and having (and/or taking) the time to catch up. I'd like to talk to her more than I do. Actually, I'd like to talk to a lot of my family members a lot more than I do. And I'd like to talk to a lot of my friends a lot more than I do. Someone get me More Hours in a Day! Stat!
-- Feeling like I look cute in this dress.
-- Getting lots of compliments because I do, in fact, look cute in this dress.
-- The frickin weather today, yo! So nice out!
-- My girl bestie <3s me. And she bought me the cutest dress. *giggle* *squee* *bounce, bounce, bounce*
-- Oh! They hired someone new at work! I might not have to work the early Sunday morning shift, after all! Yay, Saturday nights!
