Never Again, or on second thoughts...?

Glasgow is brilliant.

Flying there takes only just under a hour, (from Bristol) the city is lovely enough and the night life is cracking. We went to this nightclub called 'The Garage', which has a fantastic model of a huge yellow dumpster truck bursting through the wall of the club, right above the entrance. Anyone who's seen the Harley Davidson Cafe in Las Vegas will have an idea of what I'm talking about.

Friday night, we went for a slap-up Indian curry in a brilliant place where you just pay £13 and go in and eat to your heart's content. There's a BIG circular table that has all the dishes available for you to help yourself. The choice available had me salivating. Unfortunately, I ate rather too much (who can blame me?) and when I attempted to 'down' my beers at closing time, it ended up in me having to exercise a huge amount of self control as I covered the 20 yards from our table to the nearest toilet.

Saturday was basically more of the same and we flew back seriously hungover but happy. Glasgow gets my thumbs up, but I think this is definitely an "age thing". It didn't snow, it was WARMER than Bristol. I guess I am a little guilty of stereotyping...

HP front: I'm bored off my socks, so I made myself a new avatar for COSForums to replace my long-standing Swan Avatar. I was sad to see it go, but I really like this one. Find my profile to see what it is- I edited it a bit so it was suitable for avatar use.

Current Affairs: Fuck knows, been on the piss for 48 hours. Need to catch up, back to reality. :D
