Here are some detail shots of the finished piece- I'm sorry they're crappy-I have to go to the gallery again to photograph the whole thing because my lighting was awful here. But at least this gives you an idea of the structure/texture involved, that you're not looking at a flat piece. To attempt the hazard of pasting a few words to what is indescribably more complex- the piece speaks something of a code-song of combining structures of belief (churches, temples, various dwellings ancient and modern) being constantly altered and rematerialized...in our minds as in cyberspace (the shared mind)...
It is a meditation on a sort of self-assembling system of matter in which we are a part.The structures are skeletal...organic...yet they form a language and larger code. Like we do. The ancient is not lost in this new age of technology. The ancient simply recodes into new forms. Like we do.
