I tried listing a couple books yesterday. The first one was a British bird book from the 1970s and the American souces only listed much more recent editions. All of the British libraries were unavailable, so I didn't bother with it.
Then I tried an American field guide and couldn't find the right edition either, although I found one that was only off by a couple years, so I listed it. By that time I was frustrated, so I stopped.
yeah, ok, I've got to admit, my enthusiasm was on the quickness of a lot of the searches....I was excited to get just some of my library up there and I just rolled over the ones that didn't work and went on with others. there ARE a lot of books that don't turn up in the searches. It works best with newer or reprinted books. Ones that don't show up easily can be searched for by ISBN or put in manually....but I agree it's not as fun as having the right ones turn up. SO far though it's the best tool I've come across for this.
no not at all, lots more to go. I've got a little book addiction, you see. But I'll have to wait until i get another burst of book-cataloging energy. Right now other projects are prioritized. But at least a lot of my favorites are up.:)

I'm not hooked yet, but still intrigued.
