Hi there friends, family and fans ;)
Because of your generous support, I am celebrating another milestone this November-7 years since I started my side business, Starstruck Music Management, in San Francisco!
What's this Starstruck Music Management? Well it began “accidentally” in November 2002-in the same fashion as my photography business-when I saw a need for someone to help unsigned bands. There was no one to do this at the most basic level, so I took on two talented singers-one in San Francisco, one in Kansas City-and within a year, I launched a business that has been growing steadily for the last seven years.
With over 80 sold-out shows to my credit, my bands and I have filled venues such as the historic Fillmore, Café Du Nord, The Independent, Bimbo’s 365 Club, L.A.’s Hotel Café, New York City’s Bowery Ballroom, Bottom of the Hill, The Great American Music Hall and Slim’s, just to name a few. So, I will be featured as a guest on Women and Legends Who Really Rock Radio, this Friday, 10/23/09, broadcast starts around 10am PST. Also Raelle Myrick-Hodges (Artistic Director Brava Theatre in SF) will be a guest on the show, don't miss her!
