alpaca farm - just told this story but wanted to post it

there is an alpaca farm in brentwood, CA, on briones road or something...i went with the parentals and the aunts as we just happened to drive by. We went into the ranch and the ranch owner gave me 2 small dixie cups to feed the juvies, as the babies were in the barn-the juvies were out with the parents grazing along the fence. I braved the first line of goats and then held out my arms like a robot and they slowly came to my hands to eat out of the cups. Within about 3 mins I was completely surrounded by the juvies, they are at least 5 feet tall!!! I couldn't see daylight anymore, as the adults were taller than me, and they were tasting my hair and clothes and chewing up the cups. I started laughing hysterically because it tickled but also I was getting claustrophobic not being able to see above my head except for eyes and fur. I was being pushed over towards the barn, by the group of 15+ alpacas. My dad yelled out for me, and I could barely hear him but I heard the ranch owner howling with laughter. I yelled out, "where are they taking me???" and heard nothing but hysterical laughter from the parents and the aunts. I just let the juvies takes me wherever they were headed but they were relentlessly tasting my clothes and my hair as if I were a snack. I then started to panic because they were pushing/herding me hard with their chests and heads for what felt like a long time, I had to keep walking towards where they were herding me. Then instantly the dispersed and I was a total mess of fur, alpaca saliva and hay. I was 25 feet over into the "nursery" where the babies were, and the babies all came to me to smell me!! I figured that they thought I was part of the herd so they directed me to where they thought I should be, with the babies!! The ranch owner was in tears and asked how my abduction went!!I had to take a shower when I got home, I had parts of my hair missing!!! They tried to eat me but it was their way of figuring out who I was. It was fun, despite the panic I felt but I'm going back with Momma when she returns!
