I had to sort through my music to find a song to "present" in class today. What I've discovered is my life belongs on mix tapes and mix cds. whole sections of my life labled, "ice skating day," and "february 2005." I can't decide which song to present, "in the aeroplane over the sea" or "neighborhood #1." I've suddenly decided on "neighborhood #1"

the arcade fire makes me think of that weird short chicago trip a couple of years ago because you handed me headphones and i listened to them for the first time on the bus on the way back! it was neighborhood #2

and i totally know whatyou mean about mixes. i have 3 or 4 that are landmark mixes i will never get rid of.
