lazy days of summer
Summer break is starting off nicely. Teh family and I took a trip down to San Diego and Disneyland for a graduation. Got back Sunday night, and proceeded to just lie around for the rest of the week. I don't start my clerk job until next week, so I'm using my time to merely update my glorious iPod and spend quality time with my dogs. Slept over at Jess' house last night, and stayed up too late watching movies. I'm so tired, as I had to get up there at seven so I could drive back in time to pick up my brother from work. Meh. I hate playing driver. Now I'm just sitting on my ass, waiting for the pest control people to come and spray the counters with ant poison. I hate hate hate bugs in the summertime. The screen in my bedroom window is slightly popped out, so a bunch of spiders and gnats got into my room while we gone. Disgusting. I went to OSH to see if I could just find a new screen, but then I realized I had no idea what to go or how to put the screen---
Never mind. The pest people got here and are installing the ant traps.
Anyways, my Dad says he'll fix the screen this weekend. What sucks is that I haven't been able to open my window and let some air in, so my room is roasting hot. The fans I dragged in just blow the hot air around. Mom's from L.A., so she doesn't think it's hot enough yet at night to use the air conditioning. Basically, I haven't been sleeping a lot.
