Its my second day in Puerto Rico and I'm already homesick. But not for Wisconsin.
The heat and walking through Old San Juan make me want to go home to New Orleans.
Right now, the coquis are singing in the trees and I am waiting for my turn to take a shower to wash away the sticky sweat.
Tommorow we go to El Yunqe, lunes la playa.
Kianna's son looks like he could be Lee's with a headful of blonde curls.
We walked around the art museum today. Its interesting to see how the museum navigates the politics of Puerto Rico, the desire to retain cultural independance while living under commonwealth status.
