He doesn't take the same plane back as Toad. Not only because its better if they split up to get back to the safehouse but he has somewhere he needs to be first, a place he needs to see. He knows where Wayne Manor is located, its easy enough to find information with the internet at your disposal, and he's formulated at least thirteen different plans on how to get near the structure without being seen.

Stealing a car in Gotham is easy enough and its a skill he's perfected since he was first on the run. Navigating the streets of Gotham isn't quite as easy but eventually he gets to where he needs to be, across the street from the entrance of Wayne Manor. He doesn't expect to see Skids--Sally, whatever she's calling herself these days--and he doesn't. Probably for the best, he's not entirely certain what he'd do if he did.

There's little doubt in Avalanche's mind that she's in there, wrapped in her false sense of security. He wonders what she does so that she can stay. What is she offering Gotham's wealthiest poster boy? His eyes narrow and the ground shakes beneath the car, a light tremor, at the thought. At exactly what his Sally could be doing.

With a growl he drives off. The trip had been a failure. This hadn't brought him peace of mind at all.

He wonders if he'll ever have it again.
