i have a lot of stuff
i have the flu. my weekend was totally ruined cos i was sick for all of it. i went out on friday night for drinks with andrew and homa...we finished up around 7 and then i caught the train home and got a couple of videos that lynette wanted to see. i was starting to really feel the flu approaching so i caught a taxi home from the station. lynette and i made some dinner and watched 'my big fat greek wedding', i have already seen this film and although i absolutely hate romantic comedies i didn't mind this one so much because it has a few good laughs in it.
on saturday i went shopping. i was really really sick, i had didn't have a voice i had a croak...but i still went shopping. i bought a backpack, a coffee grinder, arabella's birthday present, towels, a pair of shorts and some tracksuit pants. all of which were on sale. that night we watched 'about a boy'...which i actually really like...i love it when he's in the resturant and he yells out 'i'm fucking ibiza', just one of those classic moments.
on sunday i caught up with luigina and...went shopping (i got paid on firday and i get paid monthly so when you finally get money you tend to buy a lot of stuff and then live the rest of the month in poverty)i bought a pair of shoes, a skirt (which i'm going to return), photo album, and a t-shirt. i had not planned on buying the t-shirt but i got really hot and thought i was going die, so in desparation i bought a t-shirt and got changed. kit came to stay overnight.
monday i didn't go to work. just stayed home and tried cleaning up my room, but i didn't really succeed.
so that should bring us to today. i came into work late hoping to stay a couple of hours and then go home cos i am still sick. i got in only to find out that Alinda (the new receptionist) had had an awful day on monday and was completely stressed. she got told off for something that went wrong with the phone...it was her FIRST DAY...i was fairly pissed at a couple of managers for being so horrible to her. she told me she was feeling really sick, i don't think she is really sick at all i think she just wanted to escape because monday was not very nice for her. i sent her home...so i had to work the whole day. i really do wonder how stupid some people can be. it was Alindas first day on reception by herself and she did her best considering i wasn't there to help her and all these two managers can do is criticise her. i wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't quit...and if she goes, i go.
i spent most of my day running around after people and things. this whole place falls apart without me....it sucks. ok it's 4:55pm. i am going home. apparently it is freezing cold outside and raining. i don't have my coat or umbrella...hmmmm.
