Bye bye 2008! Helllooooo 2009!
Well, it's finally started, the new year has appeared and I'm sure everyone has their own feeling about it.
Me?
I'm excited.
Before I go into 2009:
2008...
2008 was a big year for me, I like to think.
A lot happened, I've changed quite a bit and I've learned a lot.
I've become far more open minded and generally a happier person who's ready to meet their goals in this year..
THIS MEANS YOU 2009!
I want this to be a bigger year for me. I have my goals to make, and I want to follow through with them.
I want this to be one of my biggest years ever.
I will make it happen.
BUT on to the celebration.
I had a couple options... Go to my brother's party and be the only sober person at a party with 20+ drunk people...
Or go to a Friend's place and hang out with 5 friends that I haven't seen for a long time to play games, talk and hang out with for all night...
I chose the latter.
And it was funnnnnn.
I love my friends, I really do, I miss all of them :<
The night mainly consisted of gaming and junk food. Of course some catching up and random dorkiness involving party hats and what not, but.. It was great.
It was good being out of the house again with friends doing something other than being online.
One of my friends gave me a Christmas Gift... A Cellphone Charm of a Goomba. I looove it <3
I forced them to watch Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog on DVD.
Two or Three of them got it, the others didn't quite (or it wasn't their kind of humor)...
Nevertheless!
I had a great New Years despite the unfortunate delay of getting back HOME from my brother's house (where I went the day after the Eve).
I hope all of you did too, and if not?
Well, y'know... I hope you can find some reason to look forward to this year, at least. :3
