A Long Time Ago....
It's been awhile since I posted a "real" post. Nothing is new with me. Rather, my life is the same. School, work, friends, planning vacations. Right now I have two spring classes. Journalism and Music, Theater, and Dance. MTD is okay-there isn't a lot of work, I have a lot of friends in the class which makes it fun, but it does feel like a waste of time. Journalism is hard- LOTS of work, and since I hate interviewing people, I don't like the assignments. I have 18 stories to write 14 after today. I did decent in Winter semester 3.95. That's as is expected, but I am working hard for the 4.0's so I can graduate suma cume ladue( or whatever)- with highest honors. At OU you need a 3.92 for that...so I am at 3.8 right now and for every 4.0 semester it goes up .4- .5 so I think I can do it... It's just stressful. I think it's important to me cause with my 3.0 7th semester, 3.1 in 8th semester in High School- I just missed the cut off for graduating with honors.
I am working at Kindercare while taking classes- about 20-22 hours a week. I heard through the grapevine I am getting more hours because they LOVE me and I am SO good with kids. It turns out, that I think that too. It's funny I "get mad" and talk sternly to them to make them behave, but I don't feel mad inside...I have high patience. I love 4-5 year olds and 1 1/2- 2 year olds the most. I love my 6 toddlers, soooo cute! But, I am a "floater" so I go from room to room...I am hoping I get the toddler room though in the summer...probably not but we will see.
Me and Katey are planning a trip to Mrytle Beach, I want to fly- she wants to drive- we can't rent a car when we are there because you have to be 25, so maybe we should drive, but it's 12 hours and I get a little car sick, plus I can't drive, plus I fall asleep if I am the passengar, plus I don't want to take my car- I want to fly. That is too be discussed. Although, it is really cheap- 400 for hotel, air, and food for 4 nights...so that is good.
I am busy planning trips- I want to go to New York, on a cruise....anywhere really. I'd love to go to the Galapagos, South Africa, and on the new Antarctica Cruise. Oh well, such is the life of a dreamer.
I am back to writing more news stories.
