It's been a good day.
This morning we brought home a new addition to the family. Jackson is still adjusting to sharing his space, and the puppies haven't met him yet, but I have faith that with time everyone will get along. Now, we just need to come up with a name for our newest family member! I'm sure we'll figure out his name soon. So far nothing has seemed to fit!
This evening I spent with friends at Caldwell Fields. I need to remember to ask sir_alf the name of the song, and the name of the books he mentioned. Both sound interesting! We did what we needed to do at Caldwell Fields and I hope it made a difference.
I'm sitting now on my couch content. It's been a good week honestly. I celebrated my 8 year anniversary to a man I've been with for 20 years (why rush a good thing? LOL). I got breakfast in bed, a dozen beautiful red roses, and reproposed to on a hike at the Cascades. The roses are still in bloom. Life is good.
I have love and good friends. I have a wonderful family of furry four footed critters. I have enough food, and a roof over my head. I have a job where I work with good people, supporting something I believe in. I am content. I am lucky. And I am thankful.
