Oh Regenold... i DISAGREE!!!
Ok, so I like to read AP magazine for the music reviews. However, they missed the mark on their review of Taking Back Sunday's (TBS) latest album. I know that the CD has been out for awhile, but I just recently got it because I didn't know how good it was. I read the review in AP magazine, and was left with no interest in listening to the CD. My interest in the new CD was sparked when I heard one of the songs on iDobi radio, which I forgot existed (it has been a year of rediscovery so far). So I downloaded a few more songs and decided that the CD was worth my money. I bought it and fell more in love with it than their earlier CD, "Tell All Your Friends". Here are my two reasons why I like their most recent CD more than the other one. First of all, more of the songs have a faster beat to them that gets my energy going. Second of all the lyrics are sang with more pronunciation, thus making it easier to understand the lyrics, which always makes me happy. TBS's sound has changed, but all musicians and artists need grow and expand their sound. It's not like TBS has gone from alternative to rap or pop, they have just taken their music to the next level.
