aaaaaaannnd it's been another long while. Gahd, it's been a tiring, but exhilirating week! One of the members of the Group I'm in suddenly became absent for two days, which resulted in the further delay on the completion of requirements for an urgent proposal on a project, which we shall call 'Proposal 2,' of which he was responsible for (I was in team Proposal 1.) Now, Project Architect was busy with site meetings on the 2nd day that guy was absent (without warning, mind you,) and only I, and another member of the team were present. We were instructed to submit a few things for Proposal 1, but then ARCHITECT took us into a meeting and said he needed Proposal 2, URGENTLY. One thing led to another, and I ended up assuming the responsibilities of my absent officemate. So the entire week has all been about rushing this and that, and Project Architect saying that Associate Architect and ARCHITECT told him that I was the one who was going to present Proposal 2 to the client. (holy sh*t... new girl? NEW girl?! I haven't even seen a powerpoint of a project presentation OR even witnessed an actal presentation! Say WHAT?!) The good thing was we made it for the Saturday Meeting, but apparently most of the requirements we had (the URGENTLY needed ones for Proposal 2) weren't needed because the client wasn't there. So, one of the teams were were working closely with worked OT (over time) for nothing! But anyway, since Project Architect was busy with another meeting, I was the one ARCHITECT took to that meeting, hence it's official. I am now part of Team Proposal 2 and the level of work I'm doing just went up a notch.

To make sense of my yabbering, here's the translation: I've only been working for just about over a month, and I'm still learing a lot of things. Becoming part of the Proposal 2 team is rather big leap since ARCHITECT is (directly) depending on us doing things well and completing them on time. Proposal 1 is basically just editing things for absolute finalization, while Proposal 2 is more or less scarping 50% of Proposal 1 (the original) and making a whole new thing. Plus, when ARCHITECT asks for a meeting, I'm now in with Project Architect. I feel... Accomplished!... and after an entire week of late nights and waking up at 5am, I woke up with bright skies this morning! So yes, I'm happy, and it's Sunday ^^ I can only hope that it stays that way.

(Forgive the Blind Items. If I divulge them, I could be sued, and who'd want that? *shifty eyes*)
