I saw Casanova in the theatre this Sunday, and I loved it. It's exactly the kind of movie that I like: full of silliness, pretty people, pretty sceneries and pretty costumes. Wow. I totally dig Heath's voice. My God. I never knew it was that deep, gah. And Lena! ♥ Her role was much bigger than I thought, which was a nice surprise. She's great. ("Vittorio, do something useful." "What do you want me to do?" "I don't know, something useful!"> Squee!) Oh, and there was also a guy that's just GAH. He played Giovanni Bruni, check him out. Gorgeousness.
I finally finished The Shadow of the Wind yesterday. Wow. It's a masterpiece. It's so good, and wow, I need to read more of Ruiz Zafón's work. If he's written more books, that is. I think I'm going to start in Anna Karenina now, even though it has 805 pages, omg. Oh! And Tuesday the 2nd there's a bookmarket in Rotterdam, where they sell new books for ridiculously low prices. I'm soooo looking forward to it, there's nothing as awesome as buying books. <3
Anyway, yesterday I had a little get-together with my study-friends Laura, Iris and Emily. We went to Emily's dorm and made wraps that tasted really good. I hardly ever see them anymore - Laura and Iris are mastering in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and Emily quit after obtaining her Bachelor Degree. Laura & Iris are going to Buenos Aires for 3 months in two weeks, so we decided to have dinner together to catch up and say goodbye. I really like them, especially Laura. We used to have a lot of classes together and we get along really really well. I miss her. I like Yolanda as well, but I can't work with her that well, and I don't know, Laura's about my age so we can talk about Johnny Depp and everything, hahah. Plus, she's fun and not as negative as Yolanda. Next week we're going to have lunch together, which I'm looking forward to. She's great.
One last thing: I totally gacked this from
