Tori, Dorian, Grandpa

I spent my day watching the Tori DVD 'Welcome to Sunny Florida'.

I have watched that DVD a couple of time now and every single time I see it I'm absolutely astonished. I don't know what it is with Tori, but oh my God that woman is simply amazing. She has such an incredible voice, and the way she plays...! Not too weird, considering the fact she started playing the piano at the age of 2,5(!)... Oh, and she's really impeccably beautiful. Whoa.

My God - can I ever live a day without obsessing over someone?

Today I also picked up The Picture of Dorian Gray again. There was a dull part in the book but now it's all good again. I love it very very much - Oscar Wilde is a brilliant man. Or was. Whatever.

On a slightly sadder note, my grandfather is dying. He's got longcancer and he's not going to be treated for it, so it's really a matter of time. My parents just went to my grandparents and apparently he looks horribly thin and everything. I plan on going next week but truth be told, I really don't feel like witnessing someone's decay. But hey, it's my grandfather, so I'm kinda obligated to go. It strange maybe, but it doens't affect me. Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that I haven't seen him for awhile & that we don't have that much contact, I don't know. It's not that I don't like him - he's really a very nice man, he knows everything about history and geography, even if he's blind (not that you need to see to have knowledge about things, but still), and he can be real funny as well. Still, I feel a bit indifferent about it all - which is bad, I know, even though I don't really feel as guilty about it as I probably should. Oh, well.
