I’ve Far More Than These
The towering mountain
The ancient tree
What have these beings
Got on me?
Snowy peaks and prairie song
But desolate and lonely
A lifetime long
Though steadfast and firm
Through wind and through rain
A life spent alone
Is a life marked with pain
The knowledge of an age of old
The summers of a thousand years
A mountainside of jewels and gold
I’d give them all and shed no tears
For mine is a life abundant and true
A life filled with purpose
A life filled with you
