With the thinning of audiobook options at the library, the movie's rave reviews, and my co-workers' adoration and constant quoting, I've decided to start the LotR/Hobbit series. I started reading them in high school, but got a bit lost and bored, so stopped. Now I'm listening to The Hobbit. The clown car of dwarves coming for tea had me dropping my jaw and going 'YOU'VE GOT TO BE JOKING! MORE!?!' along with Bilbo. Total hobbit reaction. Awesome. I'm looking forward to it. And the voice actor is very nice, so yay.
(ps i swear to my teacup collection that it has absolutely nothing to do with martin freeman. or smauglock it isn't a bad thing though...)
