busy as a bee~
I worked my first ever 8-hour shift today and it wasn't bad. Miffed because I ended up 3.89 short on my drawer and it means I missed a transaction error somewhere. We were having some really annoying errors on the registers today and I think its related. I'd much rather be right than fast, but I'm getting faster. If it means I miss errors, I'll slow down. >:/ My manager chatted with me about tarot, spirit guide animals(his was heron, but is now snake. mine was crow but is now bee and crow) and shamanism/paganism. He's pretty swell~ The chef made me special hors d'ouvres with hummus and fava beans~ He's also swell~ By in large, I had a lot of fun. I like service industry jobs because people are really nice. =w=~
ps- I think people may be trying to hook me up with people...
