I would both change nothing and change everything. I was truly in love and then truly out of love. A painful and beautiful experience.

My mother I adore. She is my north star. My father is my shadow and my truest fear. That I may be like him terrifies me.

My mother.

I miss the arms of my old lover. I miss the voices of my grandmothers. I miss the smell of my grandfathers' skin. And I miss the friendship of my shunned kin.

Autumn. The air is crisp, and sweaters block the brunt of the wind. The sky is perfect lapis lazuli and everything smells of leaf moulder, fireplaces, and rain.

Yes. Especially when I have wool on everything but my face. Thick wool socks and knitted jumpers are the keys to loving snow.

I have two friends. Both are beautiful women. If either liked me as more than friends, I would kiss them forever because it is the one thing I cannot do now as their friend which I feel I would really like to change. I dearly miss expressing affection through kisses.
