Okay. I'm kind of freaking out a little. I was flipping through the peace corps tag on tumblr and I saw that THEY STARTED THE NEPAL GROUP UP AGAIN. FREAKING OUT. Okay, so, I'm in Indian Civ and reading about Hinduism and Buddhism, and getting really interested and excited yanno, and I have been learning how to make northern Indian foods, and learning how to wear my new sari and jewelry. Kinda playing at it with great dedication and love, but I accepted that I'd not be able to go to India or Nepal or Pakistan because of reasons and the PC says no. BUT THEY SAID YES TO NEPAL. DUDE. The Buddha was BORN in Nepal. Just. The fact that this is an option. That I have a chance. MY INTERVIEW CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH. Mountains. Sanskrit-based language. Hinduism and Buddhism. Nepali food(which is like Indian food with a Chinese flair and made with mountainy ingredients). If I got to go... And get this. They are accepting volunteers for AGRICULTURE AND NUTRITION. Basically: ME. To celebrate this giggle-fit inducing information, I made myself a feast. Yoghurt and Coconut Milk Beef (what? I'm not Hindu. Don't look at me like that. It's all I had. Chicken next time.), Curried Vegetables, Dal(I can't believe this is my first dal...) and sweet, milky, Masala Chai. I am trying to be good, so I didn't make my (world famous?) chapati or rice. (and apparently the excitement made me start my period?! Wow. Calm down. o-o;)
