.....still laughing at marco instead of doing my work.....
weekends rule! when was the last time i updated? ummm....i think it was friday afternoon, so i'll take it from there. alright, so friday night went to an improv show, which was hilarious....wait already wrote about that i think....dang... then we went to a party, which i don't think i mentioned, and basically there was a good band, which was good because live music= good, but it was the first time i actually saw people smoking joints, and they were all around me, so that was a little freaky and uncomfortable. i realize i am so sheltered- it feels ridiculous. but i really don't like the whole party scene- i hate drinking, and drugs are just not even on my list of things to ever try. came back from that and went to bed early (2 am) because lil had to be up early the next day and i didn't want to wake her up. then satuday i was supposed to get up early and have toast, but i sort of slept really late and had to rush to get ready in time for the corn maze trip, which was really fun. there weren't enough cars, so they had four of us crammed into the back of caitlin's car, and i feel bad because i was practically in ryan's lap and i think i crushed his leg. well, at least he, maeve, caspar and i are all friends....or we are now. lol. it was cool to talk to them because i don't see them much, and we had a few really interesting discussions about where we had traveled- it's amazing how many people here have been all over the world- it feels so amazing to be around people like that all the time. they are so different from people at my high school sometimes, because i honestly know people who have never been farther than new hampshire, maybe vermont at the most. it gives you such a different perspective. anyway, we went to the farm, and went in the corn maze and got severely lost. ryan and i (different ryan) were two of the last people out because we got so disoriented. it was fun- i didn't expect it to be so big. we didn't get to pick apples *sad face*, but we did get to buy some, and we went on a tractor ride, so hey, i was happy. then a bunch of us stopped for dinner at someplace NOT ON CAMPUS!!!! YAY!! it was a lot of fun- i really want to try a black and white now. and i was amused that our menus had not only twenty different types of drinks, but also what precisely was in each of them. guess it was called campus diner for a reason.... then went to sarah's concert, which rocked! both the choirs were really good. i like the mixed choir because it had such a good balance, but the women's choir was very talented, and i liked the songs they sang. saturday also involved watching many episodes of family guy and the simpsons, and the going to a party, which wasn't bad but wasn't great. i was surprised because at least three people stopped when they saw me there and did double takes and were like 'i thought you didn't party?' which is true, i was just going because my friends were. but i was surprised people noticed. lol, i'm not really used to people commenting on these things, i think i just take it for granted that people shelter me, and i guess i didn't realize how out of place i apparently was. lol. it was interesting though, but i think i will be trying to avoid parties still. just not for me- kate said i could hang out with lindsey and her because they don't party much- yay for non partiers! lol. that could be fun, i think they watch a lot of movies and stuff, which i also ended up doing last night. sarah and marco and i watched a chick flick and were practically falling asleep the whole time. it was about four when we got done, so of course i slept all day today and then cleaned, which was not very exciting, but unfortunately it had to be done. grrrrrr. ;) then i went to dinner with marco and sarah, and i swear marco was drunk. i know he wasn't and he was just tired and doing it for attention, but honestly for a while there i was seriously concerned. it was sooooo hilarious. he kept talking nonsense, and then sarah would say something and he would react, and it was so funny. he got confused when he was talking about shadows, and thought it was robin hood instead of peter pan with the shadow thing, and then there was the inebriated/embryo thing, and he actually dove off the bed when we got back, thinking that we would catch him. idiot. he was tormenting/tickling sarah, messing around with all the stuff on my bed, knotting the poor snake, and actually at one point when he was almost asleep he was singing and ....roflmao. i haven't laughed that hard in a long time. i wish i had a video camera, because even if he hadn't have been acting (at least i hope he was....maybe we should go check on him...) it was still so funny. so now we're sitting here doing homework, or i should be but i'm doing this instead, obviously, and i've discovered the joys of dipping chocolate kisses in caramel apple dip, which is just sinfully good. so now that i've bored everyone out of their minds with this ridiculously long post, i am going to eat insane amounts of caramel covered chocolate and start....er...finish my homework. goodnight!
