First and foremost, I just wanted to say that "The Sun Ain't Shining No More" is one of my favourite jams!

But, truly, where do I even begin to remotely make any sense of how much I adore this? Chanxing in writing always gives me that feeling of yearning; that hesitant longing between two individuals that are clearly two halves of a whole. But the universe is constantly testing them; throwing hurdles from every direction to see how much they can carry before saying "Yup, you passed! Congratulations!"

The location and environment you've set up for the story really resonated with me because I've spent some time in a very similar setting. I was lucky enough to spend a week in Gyeongsangnam-do for the Hwagae Cherry Blossom festival some years back, and I actually reread the passage during the "tour guide" because it was something I can definitely realistically imagined. You've a very special way with words for the readers to be able to somehow put themselves in the characters' shoes and feel every tiny bit of emotions.

I am so happy that Chanyeol and Yixing found their semblance of reconciliation with each other, but more importantly, with themselves. They both arrived at a place that held a great deal of sentiment, albeit on different sides of the spectrum. You really cemented that internal struggle with many people in regards to love and all the possible outside forces that can either destroy it or eventually bring that affection home.

Oh and Yifan! *shakes fist*

This was undeniably marvelous, so thank you for sharing such wonderful writing :)

Exactly! Honestly, I'm sitting here reading your comment and marveling at how nicely you've put it! <3 It's an interesting dynamic that these two have, I think, but I understand it can be a bit difficult to explore because of how little visible/public interaction they have irl. I really wish there were more Chanxing fics out there. ;;

Oh, wow, that's great! I'm glad that I was able to portray the setting realistically enough, even though my memories of Jinhae are pretty vague now. That makes me very happy. ^^

That's... that's like the best compliment, honestly. Thank you! ;;u;; <3

You have a way with words yourself, sweetie! You are lovely and wonderful and I'm so, so glad that you liked this fic enough to leave a comment as amazing as this. Thank you so much for reading!! <3
