016. Hump Day Shenanigans

Happy Wednesday all! EIGHTEEN mooarrrrrrr days until zeeeee cruise! The excitement level is increasing day by day, ahah! I just called the cruise line because my mother has diabetes and we needed a safe way to dispose of her needles. It was the quickest, friendliest call ever. Trisha has called many times for other things for our cruise, and she’s always had to talk to two or three people for things that’s why I offered to call this time, haha! :D Poor Trisha. Basically, the cruise is a gift from my two brothers, Trisha and I, to my parents … and we’re all going on it with them. Should be a lot of fun. First family trip in about two years.

In other news, had an awful meeting today. I already knew it was going to be awful going in, but ugh … I hate being right sometimes. We hired a new Distance Education dude, and OMG … he is the type that has to repeat himself a hundred times, tries to use these HUGE words to show everyone how extremely intelligent he is (because that is clearly the only way to show ones intelligence), and has to ridicule every little thing. We had this meeting to discuss ONE thing … and should have only lasted about 20 minutes … it took an hour and ten minutes. AND he ended up upsetting one of the people on the committee with his insensitive ridicule. I wanted to throat punch him pretty hard. I ended up sending her a funny meme after the meeting, which helped cheer her up a little. <3

Otherwise, it’s been a good day at work. Nice and quiet, which I love (minus that meeting) and it’s so beautiful out today, I am so very happy. The sun finally came out, so I can go outside after work and take some hopefully nice shots for my friend (who wants to use a couple of my photos in one of her upcoming brochures--Brought my ‘real’ camera with me today). If they come out nice, I’ll share ‘em on here later (though it looks like some clouds are moving in, ugh).

Speaking of photos, it was so nice last night at the gym, I took a photo of how empty it was (2-3 people the hour and a half I was there) for my friend. Im trying to convince her to join, but she hates crowded gyms. On the way out, I took a photo of their sign (cuz I love it). So I thought I’d throw the pictures into a collage…including a picture I took of the sky on my drive home of the setting sun with some crazy clouds (and because I needed 1 more picture, a goofy meme that made me giggle). Yes, I am easily amused! HA-HA.

Happy Hump Day my fellow blogging friends! Maybe it be humptacular.
