Tired...verrrrrrryyyyyy tired today...
I swear I didn't do much at all last night. 3 drinks should not make me this tired...blah.....
So I went to Lindy's to talk chickens - she just ordered hers and ours so we should be getting our chicks August 8 - 10 - somewhere in there. We went to the Tractor store and got feed and bowls and a heat lamp for when they get here. Mine will be in the rabbit cage I used for Smokey. It's big enough - that is for sure. I think this will be fun...;) We're getting some colorful ones. One Buff Orpington (gold), One Black Australorp, 1 New Hampshire Red and 1 Silver Wyandotte (gray and white speckled). It should be a pretty little crew. I don't want roos though. Too much trouble and way too noisy!
Other than that not much done today. I was lazy and tired and just don't care. I am hitting the sack in a bit. HOPEFULLY I can sleep tonight. Last night was tough. Weird dreams and getting up early. That sucks!
Last weekend Dad and Hazel were here. I got to see both step-sisters and my one ss little girl. Last time I saw my sis she was pregnant. This is the first time I got to see Skye - almost 3 years later...:) It was a really nice visit. I always miss them when they go back to TX. I can say I don't want to go there until Bush is out of office....sounds stupid but awck I just cringe thinking of the man being in that state....bad enough he comes up my way anyway. Sorry...just makes me shudder.
