Horay!
Yesterday was really productive. I got to drive Ann’s dad’s Lexus again. I also bought a nice piece of wood, from our neighbors. I needed it for my Halloween costume. The people I bought it off of wouldn’t cut it in the shape I wanted it. They wanted twenty bucks, so I was like yeah right! I was worried that I would be able to find somewhere to cut it before the Halloween Big Art Show Saturday. I got off of work an hour early, and met up with Luke at the University of the Arts. I snuck into their woodshop, cut and sanded the piece of wood into the shape I desired in ten minutes. No one stopped me, I think because everyone just assumed that I am a student there. Afterwards, we ate Indian food. It was very filling. We went back to Luke’s studio and he drew me. At 8 o’clock I had a meeting at the Marriot Hotel on Market Street regarding the art studios in the warehouse near Temple. The meeting went really well, and everyone there was really cool. I am excited about it. Now I am thinking maybe I should just go to Temple for my masters because the studio is only a few blocks away from there and we will be able to have the studio for three years. When the meeting was over I went back to U arts and Luke painted the drawing and I painted my wood, while we listened to Dr. Dog. When I was walking to my car, my creation was getting lots of attention! I can’t wait until my costume is complete. When I got home I looked over some drawings I drew during my last semester at Moore, and picked out the one I think are the best, I have a meeting with Derek about the gallery later. I hope he likes the drawings; my drawing teacher really liked them. I think it’s about time that I have another art show. Maybe we could have a reception with some singers or something!
