I'm sort of taking a break. I don't understand some of the reactions that are happening, so after this entry I guess I'll go on to memorize mechanisms so I can at least get that pat down. I need my comfort zone right now.
What I remember about "the good old days":
- buying ice cream and because I don't eat it fast enough, it melts and gets all over my shirt. Sticky mess.
- playing under the sun the entire day when I'm done with homework... and coming home smelling like the sun.
- bruised knees, scratched legs, and dirt on my face.
- the games I played
- the dead baby mice my friends and I followed down the canals of the street.
- the first time I wrote on a wall with chalk and how rebellious I felt.
- summers with my cousins at resorts.
- how I cried when I lost one of my jelly slippers in the ocean.
- visits to the countryside and running after dragonflies. It was magical.
- hula hoops, jump ropes, and jackstones.
You have any of your own memories of the good old days? I'd love to read about them someday.
break,
comfort,
