in this crazy world

The only constant in life is change. - Lea Salonga, Kim from Miss Saigon

I quoted "Mrs. Chen's" journal because she wrote perfectly what change is to me and how I feel about change.  Have you seen her Youtube videos?  I saw her audition for Miss Saigon - she as a 14-year-old with Monica Wilson, who became her understudy - and she even had an English accent!  And her voice is crystal clear.  Perfect for theater.  No wonder she won a Tony Award for her role as Kim.

She also wrote a very good entry about forgiveness. I hope that someday, I'll be able to possess the grace and wholeness that I can give and receive forgiveness without looking back.

I'm digressing, though.  So, I'm at the library most of the time.  But who exactly am I with?

One of these friends is leaving for sure.  In light of recent events, I can't help but feel a grateful for the friends that I still have and the good memories I shared with other friends with whom I haven't had contact with.  Including those friends that I've had / I'm having difficulties with.

How can I let them know that, in spite of those difficulties, my love for them is still here? I don't believe that love ends, goes away, or dies. (re: Song of Solomon 8:7)  Love is as infinite, as amazing, and as unfathomable as Papa God.

Onwards to the photos.

Laughter is the best medicine.

One of these girls might leave the university for good.  Pass your class so you can stay!

I'm going to miss you, brother.  Enjoy your phở.

To past, new, current, and future friendships, I am grateful.

friends, library, love, random, delirious, farewell
