Dreams etc.
I told myself I was going to bake something tonight. And do laundry. Instead, I'm sitting here refreshing NPR every three minutes for election coverage.
MSN seems to think that the measure to get rid of the income tax is going through. Idiots. Ah well, hopefully we've elected smarter people who will NOT follow that lead.
I had a spooky dream last night that well meaning people were trying to dose everyone with some agent that caused changes in a person - the changes weren't certain, but somehow gave The Man some mind control abilities over them and some tracking abilities. And frequently they caused you to look like you were glowing under black light. In areas of high concentration, the whole world glowed a bit. It usually took several doses for full effect - I (obviously) spent most of the dream running away from the folks doing the dosing. Apparently, they had a tendency to lock people up for several doses if they struggled. Eventually, I let them dose me once, because I figured it was better that then get "caught" and dosed until it took full hold. Of course, then I glowed + could maybe be tracked some, so I wasn't able to go to all of the "safe" places (it would make them less safe).
I know it was a wonderfully well constructed metaphor for something, I just can't explain what... Rightwingism? Didn't bode well, but hey, my dreams are rarely prophetic!
